Landlord Accreditation Scotland has created a programme of training which looks at the standards of the Letting Agent Code of Practice (the Code) in depth. The programme is designed to assist agents in putting strong compliance measures in place and ensuring a strong knowledge base in agency teams.
The sessions within the programme, which are delivered virtually, are recommended as meaningful CPD and assist qualified agents in attaining required training hours.
This module, delivered over two webinars, explores all the elements that make up Section 4 of the Code.
Topics explored in this workshop:
- Marketing property in line with the code and consumer regulations
- The process from viewing to application through to the tenancy agreement
Having attended both webinar training sessions you will have a sound understanding of:
- Property marketing and advertising
- Tenancy applications
- Setting up a tenancy including lease preparation and deposits
Who is this webinar for: This course is suitable for agency staff who work closely with the landlord in the initial stages of letting their property. Staff who offer and then process tenancy applications and those who prepare tenancy agreements should also attend this session.

Learning Format
A virtual classroom is a learning environment where participants can interact, communicate, view and discuss material, while working in groups, via an online platform. LAS use Zoom.
For LACP training modules delivered virtually, the webinar facilitator will confirm a delegate is present and therefore delegates need to be visible via camera or have made LAS aware in advance of why this is not possible.
