Landlord Accreditation Scotland

Mid Market Rent Compliance Programme

Housing Association staff moving into Mid-Market Rent roles face a genuine compliance challenge. MMR creates tenancies with social housing values set within private rented sector legislation, and understanding where the boundaries lie matters.

The Mid-Market Rent Compliance Programme has been designed specifically for Housing Association staff working in MMR, providing structured, practical training that builds genuine compliance confidence at every stage of the tenancy. Developed in partnership with Landlord Accreditation Scotland, it is the only training programme of its kind designed specifically for MMR providers operating in Scotland.

How our Mid-Market Rent Compliance Programme works

The programme covers everything from preparing a property to let, through setting up and managing a tenancy, to bringing it to a lawful and well-managed close. Each of the three modules is grounded in the Letting Agent Code of Practice, giving your team the knowledge they need to work effectively, protect your tenants, and meet your obligations with confidence.

Not sure where to start? A free one-hour introductory session is available to help you and your team understand what the programme covers and how it applies to your role.

All other modules are delivered over two webinars to allow enough time to cover all the required content. We want to make sure you come away from the webinars with more refined practical skills, and the confidence and tools to work efficiently. To achieve this, the sessions will be interactive as the best way to learn is through practice.
