Landlord Accreditation Scotland delivers learning and development for Scotland’s social housing organisations who deliver mid-market rentals.

The regulation of  Scottish Lettings Agents means some housing associations offering mid-market rent housing find they have to register with the Scottish Government. This is because the legislation classifies them as operating a lettings business.  This means those Housing associations affected must have suitably qualified staff delivering the tenancy management aspects of their mid-market tenancies.  Qualified staff must also undertake CPD to meet registration renewal criteria. 

Landlord Accreditation Scotland delivers Scotland’s most respected letting agent qualification and CPD programme and we are here to help.  We offer a range of training options that help housing associations meet their obligations.  

Qualifications for Housing Associations

LETWELL is the qualification programme delivered by Landlord Accreditation Scotland in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) through their Housing Academy. This programme is recognised throughout the industry as providing the most in depth training.  It takes into account the differences between the traditional letting agency and the work undertaken by mid-market rent providers.

CPD courses and bespoke training

Our core information sessions and more specialised CPD training are undertaken by thousands of letting agents annually. The training provides learners with practical day to day property and tenancy management skills alongside sessions aimed at providing a detailed look at the overarching legislation and ongoing compliance.
